RESPONSIVE WORDPRESS WEB DESIGN

I have been working with Stewart House since 2009. I have developed and maintained their website, which has undergone several upgrades during this time. I also undertake any graphic design work ranging including posters, brochures, direct marketing campaigns, annual reports, and much more.

In 2017 I undertake a complete redevelopment of their website upgrading it to a completely responsive format (mobile-friendly) and the addition of full content management functionality so they can easily maintain all areas of their website via an easy-to-use content management system that operates seamlessly on all devices including mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers.

Staff were given a three hour face-to-face training session to instruct them on how to maintain the website. Ongoing telephone support is also available.

The shopping cart was overhauled to make the process for the supporters to purchase merchandise, make donations and purchase tickets for fundraising events from any device more seamless.

I created a design that was fresh and vibrant with a seaside feel in line with Stewart House’s Curl Curl beachfront location.

About Stewart House

Every year 1,800 public school children attend Stewart House at no cost to their parents or carers. During their 12 day stay, children are provided with dental, optical, hearing and medical screening and treatment. They participate in educational programs and excursions designed to develop their social and emotional skills, build self-esteem and improve their overall well-being. The experience provides children with a much needed break from their current circumstance. Children in the care of Stewart House attend a specific purpose school onsite for 8 days of their 12-day stay which is funded by the NSW Department of Education.
