Pure in Heart is a Wellness Centre located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The therapists at the Centre offer private consultations, workshops and classes. They also sell natural remedies and herbal medicines. The purpose of the website was therefore quite broad and needed to encompass the many services offered by the business. Before starting work I undertook extensive keyword research to ascertain what words potential clients would use to find a service such as this when searching on Google.
In respect to the design and layout, the client had a very specific vision as to how she wanted the website to look. The colour scheme was to be strong with an emphasis on black, white and a deep, vibrant green. All photos and imagery used was in keeping with this colour scheme which created a consistency throughout the entire website. The result was a striking, bold (and hopefully unforgettable) website.
The website has content management functionality so the client can manage the website easily themselves. I conducted a face to face training session with the client along with several follow up phone training sessions thereafter. A blog was incorporate into the website so the client could add helpful articles and tips that would attract new visitors to their website with the goal of introducing them to the Pure in Heart brand and converting them into paying customers. I discussed with the client how she could use the blog to increase their keyword research and target new markets.
