Traditionally people prefer to sell in Spring because it is when their gardens are at their best. If this is the case, tidy up the garden by cutting back dead growth and, if conducive to your garden design, add splashes of colour with flowering annuals. Cover bare patches in your lawn with fast growing lawn seed or garden furniture. Don't forget the verge at the front of your property.
