New World Pools, established Sydney pool builders, came to me with an established website that wasn’t ranking well on Google.
Their website had been built using WordPress which definitely makes my job easier as I don’t have to navigate my way through proprietary software. Their website developer was very accommodating and gave me access to their entire website and all associated files.
As a safety measure I set up the website on a test server so I could undertake the necessary changes without ‘mucking around’ with the live website.
Once I finished making all the necessary SEO ‘fixes’, the test website was uploaded live to replace the un-optimised version.
In conjunction with the changes made to their actual website, I performed additional, external SEO tasks that culminate together to attract a top Google ranking.
As I didn’t design the website from scratch, there were SEO tasks I was unable to perform as this needs to be done done at the initial development phase of a website’s creation. This is why it is very important to enlist the services of a website developer who also has search engine optimisation expertise and experience.
