Limburners Plumbing Maitland

Limeburners Plumbing are local Maitland plumbers servicing the Hunter Valley, Dungog, Port Stephens and Newcastle. I had worked previously with the business owner when he ran a plumbing business in Sydney for 25+ years.  I had developed a website for him in Sydney and, through effective organic search engine optimisation and a top Google ranking, his Sydney plumbing business was very successful. When he moved his family to the Hunter Valley and established a new plumbing business based in Maitland, I was more than happy to assist.

First I designed a new logo for the business.  Next, I developed a new WordPress website and, after undertaking extensive keyword research, created an organic search engine optimisation (SEO) strategy with the goal of targeting the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Dungog, Port Stephens and Newcastle areas.

Like most tradespeople, the business owner was busy working onsite and didn’t have time (or the inclination) to write the content for his new website.  I was able to assist with all the website copywriting.  My copywriting services have the additional benefit of the ability to ensure the content contains all the relevant keywords and is highly optimised for search engine ranking. The Beltree Hunter Valley

The Beltree Pokolbin offers luxury holiday accommodation in the Hunter Valley.  They had originally created their own WIX website but had outgrown it and needed something more professional.  A Google ranking (SEO) was also important and they couldn’t achieve this with their WIX website.

I recommended upgrading their WIX website to WordPress.  Once I explained the advantages and cost-effective web design costs, they agreed.

The result was a great looking, clean and simple website that the client could still manage themselves, making updates easily when needed.  I am also available anytime to assist them with ongoing website maintenance and search engine optimisation.

New E-Commerce Website (WordPress WooCommerce)

Kalinya Botanicals Hunter Valley.

I have worked with the owner of Australian skincare and wellness brand, Kalinya Botanicals, on other businesses she has owned and operated. I was excited to work with her once again on her latest venture into the online organic skincare market.

The first stage of the process was to create a new logo and develop the foundation of the brand. The client had a vision of what she wanted so I made this a reality for her. Once this was signed off, I developed a new WordPress WooCommerce e-commerce website showcasing the range of botanical skincare and beauty products.

Willow Grove Village

Willow Grove Village is part of the Hampshire Villages group with whom I have worked since 2003. These lifestyle villages, designed exclusively for over 50s, offer an affordable alternative to traditional retirement villages. An important consideration in the design and layout of this website is that the primary demographic using them are the over 55s age group. With this in mind, it’s paramount the Hampshire Village websites are simple in their format and feature an intuitive navigation structure.

Work completed on this project

  • Design a new logo that is unique to this village yet consistent with the Hampshire Villages brand.
  • Develop a new WordPress website that is consistent with the overall Hampshire Villages brand yet unique to the village, its location and the clientele they attract.
  • Undertake extensive keyword research for search engine optimisation (SEO) to achieve a top ranking on Google for keywords used by potential residents seeking over 50s accommodation in the Hunter Valley area.
  • Curate content aimed at improving the website’s keyword relevancy to secure a page one Google ranking while also providing useful and helpful information for visitors to each website.
  • Add strong calls-to-action throughout the website encouraging people to make enquiries via the Village sales team.
  • Set up a contact management system (CMS) so the Village managers can quickly and cost-effectively communicate via email with past and potential residents. Integrate automated online subscription forms with the CMS system – see Constant Contact / MailChimp.
  • Interlink each Hamsphire Village website to improve cross-promotion and ensure more frequent search engine crawling.
  • Install and set up a ‘Homes For Sale’ portal to showcase properties for sale at the Village.
  • Website speed optimisation: For fast website download across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

Odyssean Horse Agistment Hunter Valley

Odyssean is a Hunter Valley small business offering horse agistment. Only 2 minutes from Cessnock, Odyssean facilities include a full size fenced sand arena, round yards, wash bay, lock up tack room and access to bushland trails from the back gate.

I had worked with the owner of Odyssean on another successful business they own so they came to me when they needed an affordable website for their new endeavour. Importantly, the Odyssean website needed to be optimised effectively for search engine ranking as this was to be the only marketing medium used to attract customers.
