I completed a new website for Pittwater Marine and Slipway after their old website went offline and they couldn’t contact their original website designer.

Based on the waterfront at Church Point near Mona Vale on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the company needed a replacement website up and running quickly.  Whilst I worked on the new website, I created a temporary landing page with the client’s contact details and a brief summary of their services.

I recommended a new WordPress website for the clients.  WordPress powers approximately 30% of the world’s websites. It is extremely powerful and can be used to create sensational looking, mobile-friendly websites on a budget.

Best of all, WordPress has a built-in content management system (CMS) which will make it easy for the staff at Pittwater Marine and Slipway to update and maintain their website in-house.  Of course, I am always available to assist where needed and can make updates on their behalf.

I custom-designed a new WordPress website for Pittwater Marine so it would appeal to the customer demographic they wanted to attract.

The Pittwater Marine team are busy every day, usually out on the water and slipway repairing and restoring boats. To assist them with the completion of the new website build, I wrote all the content for the new website.  I was unable to access their old website (which had disappeared from the internet) so had to write all the content from scratch.

I met with the clients in person and spoke with them via phone on multiple occasions to gain insight into their business, the services offered and the projects completed.

My copywriting services have the additional benefit of the ability to ensure the content contains all the relevant keywords and is highly optimised for search engine ranking. I can also include content specific to my search engine strategy.

  • Web design: Develop a new WordPress website that adequately showcased the client’s boat repair and restoration services and projects completed.
  • Search engine optimisation: Undertake extensive keyword research. Optimise the website for organic search engine ranking (SEO) to achieve a top Google ranking for relevant keywords, search terms and geographic areas.
  • Website copywriting: Research and write content for all pages of the website. Interview the client on several occasions as part of the research process to gain insight into the projects completed.
  • Website speed optimisation: For fast website download across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  • SSL certificate: Install SSL certificate and secure the website.
  • Hosting: Set up and provide website hosting.
  • Domain Names: Research who was hosting their existing domain names and point them to the new web server.
