What is WordPress?
WordPress is a website creation tool that is, I believe, the most powerful tool available to build a professional, cost-effective website that looks great on all computers and devices.
WordPress powers around 30% of the world’s websites. It can be used to create everything from simple websites and blogs, e-commerce shopping carts, and even complex enterprise websites.
The WordPress Dashboard CMS system
One of the main benefits of WordPress is that it comes with a built-in content management system (CMS).
The Dashboard, or back-end of the website, is where website content can be edited, new posts created, products added, sales figures monitored, and so much more.
Put simply, it’s the engine and brains behind the website.
The WordPress Dashboard is mobile-friendly and can be accessed from any device including computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones offering website administrators a huge degree of flexibility and convenience.
Learn WordPress quickly
While there are thousands of WordPress tutorials online that teach website administrators how to self manage their website, I appreciate that some people want to learn how to use WordPress quickly and, often, in a face-to-face environment.
If you’re a busy business owner or staff member with a lot on their plate, why waste time watching hours You Tube videos and read countless pages of step-by-step instructions when you can learn how to use WordPress in a few hours?
WordPress training classes
I conduct face-to-face WordPress training sessions in my rooms on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Training can be one-on-one and in a group.
I also travel to businesses within the Sydney metropolitan area to provide in-house WordPress training workshops.
Skype and phone training sessions are also available for WordPress users outside Sydney, or for those who don’t require face-to-face training.
How long do the WordPress classes take?
The time required varies depending upon the complexity of the website and the participant(s) expertise.
Typically one-on-one WordPress training sessions run for three hours. Group workshops and high volume training sessions may require longer.
How I differ from other WordPress trainers
My methods are little different to other WordPress trainers as I tailor the content to the requirements of the individuals. Afterall, every WordPress website is different and so too should each training session.
I provide participants with the knowledge they require to manage their WordPress website with confidence.
For large, complex WordPress websites several sessions may be necessary to ensure participants have a full understanding of their website.
How much do the WordPress training sessions and workshops cost?
Prices vary depending upon the number of attendees. It’s best to contact me direct for a quote.
