Northern Beaches trade business, Round The Bends Plumbing, wanted to take their business in a different direction so approached me to assist them with online and offline marketing tools. These included new web design, logo redesign, business cards and company profile booklet.
Logo Design
The first step was to improve their logo design. It was important to retain elements of their old logo and not stray too far from the original design as it did have strong brand awareness among their client base. With this in mind, I made some subtle updates to the logo to make it more contemporary and in keeping with the new direction the company wanted to take to.

Website Development
Once the new logo had been approved, I started working on the website design. The website would be used by the client as a tool to showcase the calibre of their plumbing projects and clientele they work with. The website design needed to be stylish and simple to use. Importantly, it had to look great across all devices. Search engine optimisation wasn’t a priority so I could keep the website compact as keyword relevancy wasn’t necessary.
Work completed on this project
- New web development: Set up and design a new mobile-friendly WordPress website. Install and set up plugins needed for functionality, security, etc.
- Website speed optimisation: Optimise the website for fast download and load times.
- Website hosting: Set up website hosting and point domain names to new web server.
- Portfolio: Set up a portfolio section used to showcase the client’s plumbing project.

Graphic Design
Part of the client’s branding was to design new business cards and a glossy company profile presentation. I also organised the printing of the marketing material with a local Northern Beaches printing company.
The 8 page presentation booklet featured information about the company along with photos of projects completed by the company.
