Northern Beaches psychology, Leanne Cater, had built her own website some years ago.  The website looked old and wasn’t mobile-friendly. Leanne reached out to me to develop a new website for her clinic that would suitably represent her professionalism and areas of expertise.

Leanne, an avid writer, was happy to self-manage her website and was keen to add articles regularly.  To this end, I recommended I develop a new WordPress website for her. WordPress has an easy-to-use content management system called the Dashboard. It also comes with a built in blog – perfect for Leanne to upload her articles.

With a clinic based in Dee Why, Leanne wanted the website to feature on the Google search results for anybody searching for a Northern Beaches psychologist or counsellor.  Organic SEO (search engine optimisation) was included in my proposal.

And finally, since starting her practice, Leanne hadn’t had a professional brand created for her business. We discussed colours and styles she was drawn to and she opted for an earthy colour scheme with a coastal vibe to signify her location at Dee Why Beach.  The imagery throughout the website was consistent with this in the form of the coastline, pebbles, sand, and local flora, to create a calm and warm aesthetic.
