I started working with NS Formwork and Concreting in 2019. They were referred to me by an existing client because they hadn’t been receiving any enquiries through their website due to a lack of search engine optimisation. Based in Roseville (North Shore), they work with customers throughout Sydney.
In 2019, the priority was to add search engine optimisation to their existing WordPress website with the goal of getting the phone ringing. I retained much of the original design, primarily concentrating on improving their organic search engine ranking.
Their cost-effective, little website worked extremely hard for them, moving up the Google rankings, and bringing in lots of enquiries each week. The client was ecstatic with the outcome.
In 2023, it was time to finally upgrade the design of the website and refresh the SEO strategy. Their old website had well and truly paid for itself hundreds of times over so the client was happy to funnel funds into their website again.
The first step was to update WordPress and any associated plugins required for functionality. Next, I improved the website’s security and speed optimisation.
Next, I undertook extensive keyword research to reacquaint myself with existing and new search terms that potential customers were using to find concreters and formworking services. With this information, I was able to refresh the original search engine optimisation strategy, forming the foundation for keywords and search terms now and going forward.
Then I was able to start working on the new design. I improved the old content and added new information in line with my SEO strategy.
The finished result was a contemporary design, with carefully curated content, an updated SEO strategy, and strong calls to action throughout.
