Heavy Vehicle Wash Equipment – New web design for a Fairfield company

My first project completed for the start of 2023 was for Good Sight Wetherill Park (in the Fairfield LGA) and the development of a new WordPress website for their heavy vehicle wash equipment division.

Good Sight is Australia’s leading supplier of car wash equipment and, in 2023, expanded to include train, bus and truck wash equipment.  I have worked with Good Sight for 15+ years.  I developed and managed their main website (goodsight.com.au) and take care of all their online marketing including search engine optimisation (SEO), email marketing (EDM) and social media marketing.

WordPress Website Design

The new website for heavy vehicle wash equipment was created to target a completely different market sector to their main website.  The search engine optimisation (SEO) and keywords were also entirely different.

With respect to the website design and platform, I suggested WordPress. WordPress powers approximately 30% of the world’s websites. It is extremely powerful and, importantly, has the flexibility to create sensational looking, mobile-friendly websites on a budget. It’s the perfect solution for a small business website.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

After undertaking extensive keyword research, I created an SEO strategy for the entire website. This formed the basis of the layout, design and content.  Importantly, websites must now adhere to Google’s Core Web Vitals (CWV) requirements with respect to website performance, speed, accessibility and best practice.  Without these, a top search engine ranking is difficult to achieve.

I sourced content from external websites. The content was sourced from the company’s international suppliers so had to be amended to speak more directly to the Australian market.  It also needed to be optimised for Google and SEO.

The finished result was a clean and easy-to-navigate website that will form a solid foundation that will grow and evolve alongside the company. It is fast to load and looks great across multiple devices.  Importantly, the website received a 99-100% Core Web Vitals score.

Website Hosting and Domain Name Registration

Additionally, I set up an affordable website hosting package for the client which included email hosting.  I registered the new domain name for the client too.
