Aqua Glass Pool Fencing are a glass pool fencing company based on Sydney’s Upper North Shore. Their existing website was looking tired and desperately needed upgrading. Additionally, they were no longer ranking on Google.
Website Redesign Upgrade and SEO
Their original WordPress website had been designed some years ago and was in desperate need of a modern redesign so it suitably represented the pool fencing jobs they were completing and the calibre of their work. Secondly, they weren’t ranking very well on Google and were missing out on business as a result.
I made an assessment of whether it would be more cost-effective to upgrade their old website or start again from scratch. I recommended the second option as it gave me the opportunity to optimise their website correctly from the ground up. This is often the best method of optimising a website for search engine ranking as it means I am able to apply a solid SEO foundation from the ground up.
It can usually work out to be the more cost-effective route as I am not wasting time fixing another website developer’s errors. The website is clean and performs as it should. Obsolete plugins can be removed so the website loads faster across all devices. It also gave me the chance to clean up the navigation menu and improve the calls to action throughout.
An important addition to this website was the “Portfolio of Work“. I utilised the built-in WordPress blog to showcase examples of the work they had completed. When optimised correctly for search engine ranking, these blog posts become a powerful tool to increase their ranking for a huge and diverse number of keywords. It also meant I could target niche keywords and markets not considered by their competitors. The result is always fantastic.
The result was a clean, stylish website that showcases the products and services provided by the client. I optimised the website for a huge range of keywords across the entire Sydney metropolitan area.
Google Maps Listings (Local Search)
And finally, I set up Google Maps listings for their office locations to improve their placement in the local search results.
