I have been working with Healthy Pets Naturally, a Sydney business that sells natural pet products, since 2018. Originally based on the Northern Beaches, they moved to the South Coast in 2022.
When I started working with Healthy Pets Naturally in 2018, they had an e-commerce website that desperately needed a facelift. The website wasn’t mobile friendly, making it very difficult for customers to place orders via mobile devices and tablets.
The first step was to developed a new, mobile-friendly WordPress website that performed well across all devices including desktop computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones. I integrated WooCommerce to handle the shopping cart functionality.
This website worked extremely well for the client over the next 4 years.
When Healthy Pets Naturally moved their operation from the Northern Beaches to the NSW South Coast, we decided to upgrade the look and feel of the website to a more contemporary design. This also provided the opportunity to update the website functionality to keep it performing well, loading quickly and looking great. Healthy Pets Naturally attracts customers from around Australia, even internationally, so it was paramount it loaded quickly on all computers, including those with slower internet connections.
The website upgrade also gave me an opportunity to revisit the search engine optimisation. I updated my keyword research and make the tweaks necessary to ensure the new website was optimised for all the keyword search phrases used by potential customers to search for products and services offered by Healthy Pets Naturally.
The finished result was a vibrant and contemporary website that should see serve the client well for years to come.
