New WordPress website design for a Central Coast building company.

In 2023, I developed a new WordPress website for Central Coast building company, W & C Building Co.  Organic search engine optimisation was paramount to assist them in establishing their brand locally.

This new WordPress website featured all the services offered by this highly experienced Central Coast building company, including their expertise in industrial and commercial building and tilt-up concrete panels.

With the business expected to grow quickly to expand into other markets, I developed a solid website foundation that could easily grow and evolve alongside the future needs of the client.

The benefits of WordPress websites. 

WordPress powers more than 40% of the websites globally. It offers enormous potential to evolve alongside your business and, importantly, is very search engine friendly.

WordPress can be easily managed in-house by the client via an easy-to-use content management system called the “Dashboard”.  The Dashboard can be accessed from any website browser on computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.

I anticipate that these clients will be too busy to make updates to the website themselves so I am always available to assist them with this. On a positive note, this ensures that all content is optimised for search engine ranking adheres to Google’s policies and is in keeping with the SEO strategy I developed after undertaking my initial keyword research.

Showcasing the client’s recent projects.

I used the built-in WordPress blog to showcase recent projects undertaken by the client.  I recommended to the client that, as soon as a job is completed, it is added to the website thereby creating an online portfolio showcasing the calibre and breadth of their expertise.

When curated as part of the overall SEO stategy for the website, the blog has the added advantage of becoming a powerful tool that boosts the overall keyword relevancy of the website.

Search engine optimisation for Google ranking

This project didn’t just include new website design but also extensive search engine optimisation which was paramount for this new business.

My first step was to undertake extensive keyword research to determine what search phrases potential clients were using to search for industrial and commercial builders.

The information I uncovered formed the foundation of the website and the content that needed to be contained therein. I discussed my findings with the client, providing him with an insight into the number of people searching for their services both locally and in surrounding areas.

The finished result was a clean and easy-to-navigate, mobile-friendly website that will form a solid foundation that will grow and evolve alongside the client’s business. The clients can manage and maintain the website inhouse via WordPress’ easy-to-use Dashboard.  I am available to assist the client with website updates and adding new content if required.
