The Testo Clinic – New WordPress website with organic SEO

In 2025, I launched a new WordPress website for North Sydney’s The Testo Clinic, a trusted provider of tailored TRT programs since 2010. With a focus on safety, education, and long-term health, the clinic helps men improve their wellbeing and quality of life.

Like many businesses, The Testo Clinic initially created their own website using the WIX platform.  While this got them online quickly, it lacked the search engine optimisation (SEO) structure and flexibility required for long-term success and, because the website wasn’t ranking organically on Google, they were heavily reliant on expensive, ongoing Google Adwords campaigns just to attract clients.

This project demonstrates the transformative impact a professionally developed website and SEO strategy can have on an established business that had outgrown its DIY website solution.

WIX website limitations

My goal was to turn around their reliability on expensive Adwords campaigns to a stand-alone WordPress website with a solid organic SEO foundation.  This would help the Testo Clinic reduce their dependancy on paid ads and cost-effectively grow their organic search engine ranking.  And it’s working!

A WIX website is a popular DIY website builder that allows businesses on a budget to create websites using drag-and-drop tools without coding. While it’s ideal for startups or hobby projects needing a quick online presence, WIX has limitations for growing businesses. These include less flexible SEO capabilities, slower site speeds, limited customisation options, and difficulty scaling as business needs evolve. The new website reflects the professionalism and trusted reputation The Testo Clinic has built since 2010. I worked closely with the client to ensure the design aligned with their brand identity while improving navigation, clarity, and user engagement across all devices.

Organic SEO and keyword strategy

I conducted extensive keyword research to understand how potential clients were searching for testosterone replacement therapy services in Australia. Using this data, I optimised all page content to align with search intent, incorporated relevant search phrases related to TRT, men’s health, and common symptoms, and structured the metadata and URLs to improve visibility in search results. I also developed SEO-friendly blog to support future content creation. This solid SEO foundation positions the site to attract new visitors organically, reducing the need to rely solely on paid advertising.

Clear and prominent calls-to-action

Each page was developed and designed with strong, visible calls to action to guide visitors toward meaningful interaction – whether filling out an enquiry form, downloading resources, or booking a  consultation. These CTAs were strategically placed to increase conversion rates and make it easier for potential clients to take the next step.

Competitor and market research

I analysed what their competitors were doing and, more importantly, what they weren’t. This allowed me to position The Testo Clinic as a leader in both experience and client care, setting them apart with clearer messaging, a stronger support focus, and superior content structure.

Helpful content to improve search results

The new blog section allows the client to publish helpful, search-optimised content about testosterone replacement and lifestyle tips. This helps their clients in their decision-making process while boosting organic traffic.

WordPress training and ongoing support

Once the website was complete, I provided tailored WordPress training so the client was able to confidently manage their website in-house. Of course, ongoing support is available if they ever need help.
